Sooooorry .... I have to bother you all again with my soccer stories but
I waited about 5 years for this soccer game. Maybe you remember one of my
posts before the World Cup 2010. We had the World Cup here in Germany 2006
and there was this ONE game in my hometown, it was the half-final between Germany and Italy and we lost so tragically... yes ;)
And yesterday ... both teams played in the same stadium for the first time after this World Cup match against each other.
I love the atmosphere when 80.000 fans are singing soccer songs together. And of course the national anthem. I love also the Italian anthem and to sing it somehow along (it´s sounds like Italia...Italia..Italia ...lalalala ... Italia, Italia.. lalalla ...la.la.la..laaa - I also love the UK anthem where "my matching lyrics" are to be find somewhere in the middle .. la.. la...la..la..lala..la.la.la la..la.laaa... God save the Queen.. la..la.la..la... but who cares for the lyrics when it´s an emotional moment)
The stadium is the home of my team here- BVB- every second week about 80.000 people make is always sold out with one of the largest standing areas in the world for around 25.000. All you have to do is: raise your team scarf and sing along.
