Miss Lanvin ... and... "the return of the Chloe horse dress"



Every year around christmas Lanvin is representing their new Miss Lanvin dolls.
They returned a few days ago at brownsfashion with clothes from the brands
spring 2009 collection, every doll wears also some lovely accessoires:bracelets, earrings, pearl necklaces and red nail polish.

Still searching for the perfect place ...

I promised to keep you posted about the
"return of my Chloé horse dress".
I sent it to Madame Paulette back in September
with some silly stains!
About 3 weeks ago Fedex delivered a big box
with ... my dress!

I don´t know what I expected ... but now the dress
looks so perfect... I will never wear it
again as I have the fear to ruin it again with stains ;)

The dress had some color bleedings around the horses as well as grease stains.
Can you imagine the technicians removed every single color bleeding around 
each and every horse?

    That is WONDERFUL!! I am so glad to hear that you got your beautiful dress back intact! But you *must* wear it sometime, just to honor it's loveliness. Just be careful ;)

    Martina!!!!! So happy that you're now finally re-united with your very lovely Chloe horse dress! They took quite a long time to get returned to you but Madam Paulette did a very good job! It's worth the few months of waiting!!

    I can't blame you if all you want now is store this dress and never to wear it again. I might do the same thing after spending quite a fortune restoring a favorite piece like this!! But you can always just take pictures wearing it for blogging! Just stay away from food and any drink. ;)

    We're leaving in a few hours here and I'm all set and packed! Just found out too that we got upgraded (YAY for upgrades!!!) so this is the perfect start to our 2-week holiday.

    I'm not sure about the internet situation at the in-law's place so let me greet you now, have a very Merry Christmas!!!

    About the updo, it's really easy. My hair is so long now I can do pretty much anything with it. I just pulled it to a high pony tail, rolled it, secured with pins and voila!! =)

    OMG- these Lanvin dolls are so drop dead gorgeous! The one you have would be also my fav as I love all the blue Lanvin boxes LOL
