Comme des Garcons Dolls by Andrew Yang



C  arried away ...





It was Feb 3rd when the ever-charming Marian made a post about some adorable handmade Fashion Dolls designed by Andrew Yang. 

I simply had to email Andrew about his creations and 
he told me a little bit more about his upcoming
Fashion Week Event with The Block magazine where his Fashion Dolls were presented
at the Envoy Gallery in the East Village.
Andrew put me on his waiting list for the CDG dolls and
I was so happy when he emailed me a few days later back to let me know
I could call them mine ;)

Andrew sent me a little sneak preview from the event
I´m so excited to receive them
(they are my new hair inspiration ;)
and still can´t believe they are really on the way to me ;)

    Martina, this is such a typical post about "inspire me". Ask me yesterday if I would like to collect or buy a doll, my answer would be: A doll? No, thank you!". Today I see your amazing post about these dolls and I have the dream of getting one of them, too!!!! :=))

    Very chic dolls! I must confess that dolls tend to freak me out and I find them to be rather creepy, but it helps to make them very fashionable ;-) Congrats on getting them!

    Martina, I have a hunch that you are a very well connected lady - How easy was it for you to get these adorable dolls?!? Normally I'm not hot on dolls, but these are so much fun. Well done!     i went to the comme ca store in tokyo. cheaper range but still can't bear to folk out for the clothes. managed to score an outerwear item at 70% off, though. there's no room for teddy toh so he stayed with his papa and mama at home :P

    back to work. so much to do! :(

    This dolls are just so much fun!!! I too love their hair :-)))The faces are so beautiful with so much character.:-) Martina, you always make me smile and fill my heart with warm, fuzzy feelinngs. I think we are very much alike, at least, when it comes to love for fashion and unique things. I showed the pictures of the dolls to Anastasia and she immediately told me that she wants to have both of them in her room next to her two orange cats (she had themm since she was 3.). The names of the cats are Huggy Puss and Pussy Hug. :-)))) I am wishing you the most wonderful week ahead, my darling Martina.
