Paris, January 2010
After I decided back in October to apply for a promotion in my job the last months were filled with lots of stressful moments (and more stress in my head:)
Actually I planned to apply for the promotion already last winter but somehow I had not the courage to do it; so this year I knew there was no further excuse for me ;) On the day I applied officially for it I talked to my family that in case I finished everything in January I would go to Paris being the happiest girl in the world and what would a "happy Martina" like to buy in Paris?

A black Chanel bag at the Rue Cambon store ... ok, this was my "survival" plan ... and of course I can already tell you ... I did not buy a black one ;)

Although my family and friends are actually not reading my blog I have to "Thank You" them so much for all their love and support and for simply being always there for me. No matter how old I am:to be at my parents home feels always like a little oasis or a small piece of ideal world.

Gorgeous pics, as usual! Thanks for sharing. Funny, because I was also in Paris this month (first week of January). Did you go to lots of sales? I had a great time, even though I found it really cold! Martina, may I ask how tall you are?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning to you all on an early tuesday morning. It´s so cold outside and still loots of snow ...
ReplyDelete@Leeana:

I believe I was too late this year to get some nice pieces in the Paris sales. We had everything from sunshine to rain ... but it was not so cold that weekend. At the moment we have -8°C here ...brrrh ..

hello sweet Martina!
ReplyDeleteyea, i heard it's really cold where you are, and where everywhere that has 4 seasons is really cold now. i was thinking about a short trip next month before school starts. i'd prefer a cold place but it can be tough if i travel alone. i'm not familiar with european countries so i should play safe.
nice bling-bling kaftan there and i like the grey of the bal jacket.
Mietzekatze looked like he's crying! overjoyed or jealous of your new chanel buy? ;)

Congratulations on your promotion!! How exciting & certainly an occassion to celebrate. May I ask what you do for work? Does this mean you are moving to Paris?
Looking forward to seeing what you bought in that lovely Chanel box. :)

Athena
Hi Athena!
ReplyDeleteAwwh ;)... so nice to see it´s you!
How are you doing?
I simply needed an "idea in my head to survive" ;) Oh, I have nothing to do with the fashion industry, i´m in the "educational business" ;) .. so fashion is just a little welcome change.
Hope you was able to get your hands on your Lanvin vintage necklace, Athena!;) I still remember how much you loved it!
Sending you lots of hugs & kisses to you and your family!!!
Enjoy the rest of the week and stay warm and healthy!!!!!!!
Dear Martina-
ReplyDeleteYour little baby is so cute. Guess what??? Ducky is going with me to Vietnam :-).
