Christmas Eve in vintage Marni

This Marni dress was somehow lost in the back of my closet and I stumbled across it when at 1.30 pm on Christmas Eve
I had still no idea what to wear ...

outside with my Uggs ... tres chic ;)

the embroidered chiffon tulle parts
and flower appliqués

Awaiting the arrival of my Marchesa dress but
have the fear the time is too short to take
it to the tailor before my friend´s wedding etc..etc....

  10. It's so beautiful, Martina! A real dreamticket!

No, sadly I never got my hands on those Oscar boots. Oh well. I'm content, though. :)

That starfish jacket is so adorable. I had never really looked at it carefully but I remember seeing it on Carrie (I can't remember if this is from an episode or the movie). It's so cool, so unusual. *Crossing my fingers for you!*

  18. Martina, hope you had a great christmas time. What a stunning post. I`m so in love with your dress and you look so drop dead gorgeous in it.
I love Marni´s older collections even more than the actual one´s. The starfish coat is a lifetime investment coat. Something you will never give away and wear forever.

    Lots of Love,

  25. Martina!!

I'm glad this fabulous Marni dress has seen the light of day again because it's truly stunning!! When you sent me a picture of you wearing this, I thought you really looked like a movie star!!!

The golden tone of the dress complements your complexion perfectly and the flower embroideries are simply exquisite!

To tell you the truth, you even look 100x better than the model here, hehehe, specially with that full body pic you sent me!!

I think the model is pretty too but she's just not filling the dress nicely, hehe, she's so skinny for this type of silhouette! Hehehhe...

You look perfect with this dress on, Martina! It's simply stunning and I super, super, super love it!!!

    Grace
