Paris, un petit peu

(image taken from: My Little Paris website)

Weekend in Paris

So sad to read all the news about MJ death,
his songs accompanied me at so many places in Paris during the weekend...
I saw in the newest issue of German mag "Der Spiegel" a self-portrait of him
in which he wrote back in 1995:
"Before you
Judge Me, TRY
HARD TO Love
ME, look WITHIN
YOUR HEART
Then ASK,
Have you seen
My CHilDHOOD.
MJ
... aahh, that´s so sad to read and to see a picture of a little boy on the floor in a corner of a room with a micro in his hands ...

My "voted#1" store in Paris: Le Bon Marche

Martin Margiela cashier´s desk

Alaia for 50% off... I adore the grey skirt on the right side!

Alaia in the back, feet in the front...

Impressions:

Buddha Bar
Courtyard restaurant: Le Cour Jardin
an enchanting place with little birds flying around

Lanvin shopping window

"The Unwalkable" Balmain heels,
wore them exactly for the very first time...

New to the "shoe family" from the sales:
Chanel silver booties

Les Jardins du Palais Royal

My little Lanvin sketch trolley

One of my very beloved dresses is this
Louis Vuitton 2002 dress
... comfortable sitting posture ;)

Wishing you all a wonderful relaxing week!
Thanks again and again for all your lovely comments ;)
Beautiful Blessings to you ....

  6. Oh thanks a lot to you, CC, Hanh & Anna!!!
It´s 9pm and still did not pack my bags ;)

Hanh, I preordered the Balmain heels back last year in Dec from Luisaviaroma and received them at the end of Feb09. I honestly have to say: they are so extremely uncomfortable to walk, the heel is actually not too high but there is one point at the front which makes it so difficult... but I loove them ;)

I will do another Paris post where I have another close up of the Alaia skirt! I´m jealous you have the matching top ;)

    My very best to youu,
    Martina

Ok, this is a LOOOONG post! I love ALL your photos!!!
But I have to start with this heartbreaking MJ quote. So speechless
    about it I could cry!!!!!!!!
    Thanks for sharing, Martina!!!!!!

You have a breathtaking look. I never saw your LV dress in any of your previous post and just remember you once told you love maxi dresses :-)

  9. Martina, I am in awe of your style! You always look so fabulous...and that Lanvin trolley!

Those Chanel booties are great. They remind me a little of my Chanel "skyscraper" heels (I don't know if they're called that, but I call them that!). That's too bad that the Balmain ones are painful...sometimes we fashionistas just love beauty too much, eh? I still haven't worn my new Givenchys out...a little afraid! Well, I plan on soon so I can report back. I miss Paris so much...such wonderful shots.

  28. Ahh, I've been waiting for the Paris post ;-) You must tell me what's in your Balenciaga bag... if you do, I will tell you what was in mine! And I love the Lanvin trolley case! I also saw the Chanel booties (50% off, right?) but unfortunately these are really not my style... I have nothing to wear them with. They are gorgeous though!

Can you let me know who your flat sandals are from? Are they Ann D?

And you're right.. Le Bon Marche is the best department store to shop. The others are just too full of tourists. Glad you had a wonderful time :)

  29. To Haute Shopper-

Had to smile about your comment ;)
    Ok... here we go ;)
I always wanted to have a Balenciaga weekender bag for travelling
and I thought Paris would be the perfect city to buy it ;)

You are so right with the Ann D.´s! I got these sandals from Luisaviaroma. Saw them a few days ago also at Departement Feminin in size 7 for 50% off!

Happy to check your blog when I´m back from vacation and wishing you GOOD NIGHT!!!!
