LANVIN vintage 1970s "KEIRA" NECKLACE

One of my fav costume jewelry pieces is this vintage Lanvin necklace with a green pendant. I call it my "Keira" necklace as Keira Knightley was the very first who wore this vintage piece!
Although the green pendant is the most famous it´s part of a 3-pendant set in a red Lanvin bijoux box and 2 other pendants (some sets have a brown and red pendant and I also saw these pendants in white).





If you search for this vintage Lanvin necklace ebay is always a good place but please make sure you ask the seller about the condition of the interchangeable pendant! These pendants have at the back a golden screw, the screw has to be tightened fast otherwise your pendant fall to the ground. During the years some of these pendants/ screws seem to be worn out and are not in best condition!
My first green pendant already got broken about a year ago and I had to search for a second one ....what a tragedy ;)

    Oh, I cannot believe it! You have THAT necklace! I saw some go for reasonable prices on ebay, but when I went to bid Keira wore the necklace, and it went for 4 digits! Am very very jealous, LOVE LOVE LOVE it! :)

    I got my hands on this necklace about 2 or even 3 years ago and paid for the 3-pendant set no more than $200. The prices on ebay for this necklace are nowadays ridiculous...
    For all who are interested I have one brown pendant left... but it´s just the pendant I can offer you ... and without the necklace you can´t do a lot with it... but just to let you know ;)

    Ahhh, what a beautiful necklace! I think you look better with it than Keira does actually. The woman is just too frail... it looks like she'll fall over with such a large piece of jewelry ;-) An amazing find! I used to do a lot of vintage Lanvin hunting on ebay (mainly for their brooches) but I haven't done it in a while. I'm just never sure if an item is authentic or not. Do you have a trick for finding that out?

    From my point of view most of the Lanvin jewelry pieces are authentic on ebay. Keep your fingers away from so called "vintage pieces" which are up for auction with the blue Lanvin box... maybe also the "pieces"... with the signature "Made in Germany"...

    CAN YOU PLEASSSSE SELL IT? I truly hate to bug you considering you own many beautiful things and Im sure wouldnt part with anything but... Im in college here in the states,... dont ever buy myself anything because of my low income but have saved for a long time to buy this necklace that I absolutely die for and when i saw one on ebay i was going to buy it but someone got it before i could..now I have no clue where to get one.
