Always good to know where to find a talented tailor



One of my very beloved dresses is this LV dress from 2002

One of the dresses in my closet with a long history ;)
Back in 2002 I loved the whole fairytale LV collection so much. Do you remember these cute LV conte de fees bags?

The beggars bag is still on my wishlist
Still searching for this LV dress

I got my hands on the paisley dress a few years ago on ebay, a zero feedback seller listed it in a small size FR34, saying it was a gift from her husband.

I had already the matching LV paisley top in my closet so I thought about the possibility to alter the dress a little bit larger in case it would be too small (my tailor here is truly a genius). When the LV dress arrived at my home of course the size FR34 was too small ;) but my tailor took my top (my sacrifice for the dress;) and insert a small part to the side of the dress.

    Martina, I can´t tell you what I love the most: Gwyneth on the cover
    of Vogue or you in the dress.I´m always so impressed and also in love
    with these wonderful pieces you have in your closet. I am so in awe with

    What a gorgeous dress! Your tailor definitely did a great job and I guess that was just a small sacrifice - at least you can still wear the top! That LV collection was gorgeous... I loved all those floaty dresses. Of course back then I was a student, so I couldn't really afford anything ;-)

    I love how yoy hunt for pieces that you have fallen in love with my sweet Martina.
    I adored that collection from LV,Gwyneth looked wonderful in it on that cover.
    There is nothing like a great tailor,a tailor is a girls best friend and yours did an amazing job in adapting the dress to fit you my beauty.
