World Piece ♡♡ Balenciaga Girls Gotta Have

What for Tennis Player "Wimbledon", Scrooge McDuch his "Number one Dime" and for Miss US  "World Piece" is for Martina the vintage Balenciaga shearling jacket from FW04 ;)

And... as it´s June... is there a better month to buy a winter shearling jacket ?;)

I searched for this jacket such a long time (a few looong months to be exactly ;)...) and finally Rémi from Departement Femin made the impossible thing possible and emailed me he got his hands on this jacket from 2004 !!!!

I first recognized this Balenciaga jacket on the Jak +Jil Blog back in Feb/Mar when this
jacket was called the "Balenciaga mystery" :

COULD NICHOLAS BE REISSUING A CAPSULE COLLECTION OF FAVORITES FROM SEASONS PAST? OR IS HE FEELING EXTRA GENEROUS AND UNLOADING OLD STOCK TO HIS FAVORITE GIRLS? I WANT ONE THAT’S FOR SURE!!!

    So, let me say this first: Remi is a GOD! What an amazing service, that's way beyond spectacular!

    The jacket is so very fabulous!!! I can already imagine you wearing it - and that's putting a huuuuge smile on my face now, sweetheart!!

    I didn't pay attention to the 2004 collection pics before - but the biker style jacket on the left is definitely my personal favorite! Could Remi find this one for me? ;) Just kiddin....
    Is the color more green or more on the grey side? Not easy to tell by the pictures.

    ENJOY WEARING IT!! If the Summer is moving on like this the chances are fine to wear it in July first time maybe.... *LOL with a tear in my eye* ;)

    Did you ever find out how Remi managed to get his hands on this? In any case, congratulations again for scoring this beauty! I really wish Ghesquiere would use goat fur and leather again... it's such a shame that Balenciaga is now replacing everything with lamb, even their bags... sigh.

    And did I ever tell you that I actually saw Ms. Poly wear this during PFW? If I had known back then you wanted this jacket, I would have somehow stolen it from her and sent it to you ;-) But everything is ok, you have it now. Have a wonderful weekend!
