A night out at the "Met" or One of my embarrassing fashion moments





That evening still brings an (embarrassing) smile on my face...
A night out at the MET in my J.Mendel dress and
Chloe heels I was not able to walk in...



This J.Mendel dress has a looong history. 
It started with an SMS from Sofie  while I was not at home, 
letting me know this dress was listed on ebay.
Some SMS and hours later Martina was the happy winner!

I was so in love with it and took the dress with me a few months later to 
NY.
Remember always: to wear something inside your house and
to wear something outside are 2 completely different things ;)

I STILL KNOW I was the only person with a looooong dress THAT
evening!
And my heels... : As it was a cold winter day I wore them with black wool
stockings (tres chic) ... i was always slipping out my heels again ... and again ... and again...

Holy Moly... the way from the taxi all over this place can be
loooong... when you can´t walk in heels!
On the way back I finally had the heels in my hands ;)

    oh my this dress.. so pretty. too bad it did not work out so well with the heels though. but i think it was still worth the experience, right?
    this dress is just gorgeous. can't get over it!!

    What an absolutely stunning dress! It doesn't matter if you were the only one in a long dress, you would've absolutely sparkled (literally) and taken everyone's breath away. LOVE LOVE LOVE those Chloe heels! I have the unsequinned bow heels from the same collection, and like you, I cannot walk in them! Such a shame! :(

    That dress is just absolutely dreamy! I mean who doesn't love J.Mendel...his dresses are just impeccably constructed with amazing detail in every stitch. I love love it. And those heels are BAM...gorgeous!
